Use a Phin filter to brew your coffee grinds. Fill the filter with your favorite grinds and place your filter on top of a glass or mug with about three tablespoons of condensed milk.

Pour hot water into your filter in a circular motion until you see that the filter is full. Close the filter with its cap.

 If you do not have a Phil filter, you can use a French press or simple place your grinds in a cup of hot water and strain into your cup of condensed milk later.

WILD KORI KOHI

In a measuring cup, add in about ⅓ cup of coffee. You can use either brewed coffee or instant coffee for this recipe. Then add your choice of coffee or cream based alcohol. You should have about 1 cup with the mixture.

Pour your mixture into an ice tray and let it freeze for 4 to 6 hours or overnight.

Take your iced coffee cubes into a glass and serve with hot milk on the side. Pour the milk over and let your ice melt to give you a refreshing and buzzful take on coffee.

TIP: Use Kahlua or Bailey’s Irish Cream. For a more affordable option, use Black Russian by Tanduay.

SPANISH LATTE

Prepare 1 cup of coffee, brewed or instant. If you own an espresso machine, create 1 shot of espresso.

In a glass, add about 2 tablespoons of condensed milk or add to your liking. Add your ice until it reaches the top of your glass.

Fill your glass half full with your milk of choice. Pour your coffee in and serve.

KOPI MELAKA

Add your shaven gula melaka into your glass. You can alternatively use palm sugar or coconut sugar. Melt the sugar into syrup with 2-3 tablespoons of hot water. 

Add ice into your glass and pour in your milk of choice until half full.

Pour your coffee in the glass. If you have an espresso machine, use 1 shot of espresso. For brewed or instant coffee, use about ¼ cup.

COFFEE JELLY

In a bowl, add one pack of gelatin, ¼ cup of sugar, and your coffee, and mix until everything is dissolved. Your coffee should be already in liquid form, not grinds or powdered. Do not use espresso for this, the crema will break the gelatinous consistency.

Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight. Once the gelatin is done, cut into cubes.

Mix your gelatin cubes with all purpose cream.

COFFEE MUG CAKE

 In a ceramic cup, add in 1-1 ½  tablespoons of instant coffee with 3 tablespoons of warm milk and mix.

In order, add in 3 tablespoons of flour, ¼ teaspoon of baking powder, ¼ teaspoon of vanilla essence, a pinch of salt, and 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, and mix. Then add 1 tablespoon of sugar and mix well.

Let it cook in the microwave for 1 minute. If not cooked after 1 minute, add 30 seconds.
